Christopher Bailey grew up along Scenic Highway 30-A in the 1980s, when the coast was still remote and sparsely developed. Those early days of salt air and easy, unhurried sophistication left a lasting mark — and decades later, they became the heart of everything Maison30a makes.

Bailey spent nearly twenty years building a design career on the road, selling at High Point, AmericasMart, and design markets across the country while working hand in hand with architects, interior designers, and homeowners. That long apprenticeship sharpened his eye and taught him the craft of furniture from the material up. But the coast kept calling him home. In 2015 he relocated his custom design studio to Northwest Florida, devoting himself to his custom-made furniture collections and supplying bespoke pieces to the area's top interior designers. Four years later, in 2019, he opened Maison30a — a one-of-a-kind indoor-outdoor showroom and shopping concept that brought his modern coastal vision under a single roof.

Today, Maison30a occupies a full acre of indoor and outdoor showroom space, backed by a 60,000-square-foot warehouse. The brand curates a considered blend of coastal modern, classic coastal, and casual coastal design — light, textural, and made to live in. Bailey travels the globe sourcing materials and inspiration while overseeing the in-house production of exclusive collections, pieces shaped by his love of natural wood, teak, woven textures, and honest craftsmanship.

The brand's reach now extends well beyond the Gulf Coast. Maison30a maintains a 20,000-square-foot warehouse and distribution hub in Brenham, Texas — centrally located to Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and Austin — and exhibits three times a year at Blue Hills at Round Top in Carmine, Texas, one of the country's premier antiques and design shows. A dedicated Texas-based delivery team handles warehousing and white glove delivery to all points across the state, so pieces discovered at Round Top or ordered year-round arrive anywhere in Texas with the same care.

What sets Maison30a apart is its commitment to both design and service. The showroom features furniture, pottery, outdoor living collections, art, lighting, and decor — many pieces designed and produced exclusively by Maison30a and found nowhere else. For clients who want something made just for them, the in-house design team offers consultation and bespoke upholstery, typically delivered within four to six weeks. That same care extends to delivery, where an in-house white glove team services the 30A corridor communities and beyond, ensuring quick, professional installation.
